Of course the creator of this thinks that she’s a bullshit feminist- their entire basis of logic is fucking saturated with patriarchal ideas. To agree with this you’d not only have to think that the only possible reason a woman puts on make up is for men, but also that this is the same as asking to be objectified. These ideas are why we have rape culture, why we have victim blaming, slut shaming, patriarchy itself- the idea that women are born subordinate creatures to men and as such all their motives must be interconnected or rooted with them. Well, let me make this “radical” idea painfully clear for all of you who really just can’t seem to grasp it: women are here for their own lives and reasons. Not to support yours. And animals are here for their own lives and reasons. Not to support yours. There is this constant need by man to make all living things subordinate to himself and try to convince himself of it as well- that slavery is “natural,” racism is “natural,” sexism is “natural,” killing and torturing animals is “natural,” occupations and invasions and warfare is “natural,” government is “natural.” It’s not. Every construct of hierarchy has been a construct of our design alone. And we need to smash it all.

this is the same as grrrls who shave vs grrrls who don’t: it’s a personal choice and that’s that. it doesn’t make you any more or less a feminist if you have hairy armpits or a smooth vulva.
ehhhh. this meme is sort of…. uhhh.. i don’t like it.
